Four year-old Shakshi is a kindergartner in Gwalior, India. Her father is a shop keeper and her mother is a housewife. Both parents are illiterate and her family struggles financially.
Shakshi is a slow but determined learner. When she joined the special classes conducted by Amar Jyoti in Gwalior, she was very slow in understanding and grasping concepts. After lots of work, she is showing marked improvement in her studies. In addition to being a devoted student, Shakshi is a good carrom player and loves to draw.
Thank you all for your generosity. Your donation has ensured that Shakshi will continue getting a good education at Amar Jyoti.
