Karan did very well on his exams!

Dear Mohan,

Karan is a nine year old boy studying in third grade at the Amar Jyoti campus in Gwalior, India. He has a pleasant personality and is regular in coming to school. Because Karan comes from an economically under privileged family, it is difficult for his parents to pay his tuition.  Mohan, your gift of a year of tuition is a huge help for his family! His father is a carpet maker and his mother is a maid. However, they are very motivated to send Karan to school and help him in everyway they can.  His mother regularly attends PTA meetings.

Though Karan is shy by nature, he is very good in reading and writing. Since arriving at Amar Jyoti, Karan has shown good improvement. He did very well in his quarterly exams, scoring 176 out of 200!  Karan is a very good artist, enjoying painting and drawing most.  He is enthusiastic and likes to get involved in most of the class room activities.  Thanks Mohan for your kind support of Karan and Amar Jyoti!
