Vineet is a newly admitted child and is studying in Amar Jyoti School. He is six years old and is trying to adjust himself to the new school environment. Vineet has a calm and quiet personality. He follows instructions and shows interest in learning new things. He likes colouring pictures and reciting poems. He enjoys watching educational animated C.D’s in the school library.

He is learning the alphabet in Hindi and English and counting in Mathematics. Vineet is a physically challenged boy. The right side of his body is weak due to neurological problems at the time of birth. He regularly goes for Physiotherapy at the Amar Jyoti centre.

Vineet lives in a joint family set-up. His father repairs cycles to earn a living and his mother is a house wife. He has a younger sister who is also studying. His father’s income is not enough to support his educational expenses. Your generous support will help his parents in continuing Vineet’s education.

At 5 years-old, Govind has already faced serious challenges in his life. Having been diagnosed with Spina Bifida at a young age, Govind is wheelchair-bound. Sourav was so passionate about enhancing his computer skills, he taught himself to type with his feet. He is now obtaining computer vocational training at Amar Jyoti, sponsored by a generous donation.

Computers aren’t Sourav’s only passion: he is also an accomplished ballet dancer. He enjoys performing for his classmates.
